Authenticate DKIM to STOP emails from going in SPAM
If you don't add this, a lot of your emails will go to spam :(

If you have a Gmail account, you're gonna wanna do this. Follow the link below, okay, and it's gonna take you to this page, Authenticate Email.
Even though we have some of our DNS settings inside our domain already pointing to our regular domain which is Warrior Cloud, or Tampa Carry, or whatever your domain is. But a lot of times you'll see that a lot of the emails still go to spam, and that's because we have one part set up, but Gmail still goes through things because they're wanting to know -- is this email actually coming from you, or is it somebody impersonating you?
If you do this second step, this second DKIM authentication, a lot more of your emails are going to end up in your student's inbox versus ending up in the spam folder. It's very easy to do. So you'll see right here, it says "not authenticating email". We Google to authenticate the email and allow it to go to people's Gmail's boxes.
So what you're going to do is you're going to generate, create new records. So we're going to click on the "Generate New Record" button, amd refresh the page.
When you see this pop up where there's actually something for us to go add into our domain that's when we're going to take the next step.
Then we want to log in to your domain host account. We use GoDaddy. GoDaddy is maybe a little bit more expensive than some of the other ones, but for me I just find that it's very easy to use.
After you sign into your account, you're going to want to find your domain that you need to update.
Once you find the domain you're wanting to update, click on DNS settings, and then we're going to come back to our Google authentication here.
It is saying we want to create a TXT, a text record and we want to use this. In the DNS Settings, click on the ADD NEW RECORD, ad select the TXT option.
Copy/paste the DNS HOST NAME (TXT Record name): google._domainkey
The copy paste the TXT record value:
Into the DNS Settings under VALUE and click save.
That's it! You're done :)
