An important difference is that Email Templates, which are reusable layouts, and Email Campaigns, which are your individual email messages.

Email Marketing makes it possible to reuse campaign designs (users will be able to make duplicate templates) or replicate existing campaigns but you should put reusable content in templates and message-specific content in campaigns. This is helpful so you don't have to re-design the email every time, you can make one or two templates and reuse those templates each time you want to send a new campaign.

A template is a preset layout that you build your campaign on.

You can also create your own template to match your brand. You can even insert regularly used images, videos, logos, or recurring content into your template, and reuse it for future campaigns.

A campaign is the email message you design and send to your specific contacts or a smartlist (view our help article on smartlists for details)

The campaign is the actual email being sent out.

After you select a template, you'll design your campaign on top of the template layout.

In your campaign, you can view how well our email was received. Did people open the email, report it as spam, click, or not open it?

You can view statistics by clicking on the Actions next to the campaign you want to view.

You can view a quick snap shot or click on the Load More Statistics button to view additional details.
